    Antacids containing aluminum, calcium, or magnesium are considered safe and effective in treating the heartburn of pregnancy.

    Zellox-II contains both aluminum and magnesium hydroxides and is used to relief the discomforts of heartburn during pregnancy.

    However, Zellox-II is not recommended during the last trimester of pregnancy because magnesium could interfere with uterine contractions during labor.

    A 12yr old can follow the adult dose of 5-10ml for temporary relief of gastric hyperacidity. However, you should consult a doctor should the symptoms persist.
